These are photos I took on my first visit to France, Winter 2006. These particualar photos are taken in the town of Beaune and at the 15th century Hotel Dieu in Beaune and the surrounding town. I had this place to myself on this morning as it snowed overnight and no one was about. It was magical.

Hospital bed. The curtains on the interior side of the bed pulls away so patients could visit with family privately with the exterior curtain closed. There is a long passage way on the interior side of the bed with chairs. |
